So, we drove to our friends house about 30 minutes away and cooked the remainder of our dishes! This was the final product!
-green vegetable curry with evaporated milk (vs coconut)
– prawn pad Thai (made with a simple sauce of tamarind water, fish sauce and agave syrup and canola oil)
– Carol’s delicious black rice salad with pumpkin, pomegranate & maple syrup
– minced chicken in galangal and lemongrass on a slaw of red cabbage and carrot.
Nit pictures is a delightful bottle of wine and Carol’s homemade pumpkin-ginger snap ice cream!! (All the pumpkins are from her garden.)
