On sale! Well, pretty good market price, at least! This is local caught King Salmon off the Monterey Bay in Cali. I bought a tail filet from Phil’s Fish Market in Moss Landing. I seasoned it with a bit of dried oregano, fennel seed, paprika, garlic and chili. The vegetables were cut and grilled in a huge aluminum pouch with olive oil and lemon thyme.
When ever I get fish at Phil’s, I usually order a clam chowder to-go. Today’s beautiful sunny weather meant the line was out the door! But I waited anyway! Back home, the weather turned foggy and chilly, so it was perfect for hot chowder!
