
Breakfast! 2/3 cup cooked Brown rice simmered in 3.5 cups water and a sprinkling of peanuts. After 25-35 minutes, a thin skin forms over the broken rice, stir slowly and if the rice no longer resembles .. rice, well, you are done!

My favorite condiments to add and mix in are freshly julienned gingers, pickled mustard tuber (Zha chai or zha-choy) peppers, chopped green onions and a dash of red vinegar. Mmm
